Andy Grammer - headliner

Grammer was the first male pop artist, since John Mayer in 2002, to reach the Top 10 at Adult Pop Radio with his first two singles “Keep Your Head Up” and “Fine By Me.” Grammer is known for his vibrant pop/rock/soul mix and free-flowing vocal delivery. The acclaimed singer, songwriter, and musician who began as a street performer in Santa Monica is currently working on his new album and is poised to make 2014 another big year.

The Ready Set - opening act

The Ready Set has a diverse sound that includes lifetime of influence that brings life to their music. The Ready Set’s debut album I’m Alive, I’m Dreaming earned a spot on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart upon its June 2010 release at No. 3.They hit No. 27 on the Billboard Hot 100, the JR Rotem-produced single “Love Like Woe” went platinum, selling more than 1.4 million copies. In 2011, The Ready Set headlined the Glamour Kills tour and then released the single “Young Forever”. The single’s music video was the No. 1 most-watched video on

Q: What is Moc Madness?
A: "Moc Madness" is the Campus Activities Board's spring concert event and the tradition began in 2014. The event was created to respond to student feedback and to provide students a large scale entertainment event. Like all of CAB's events, the event is completely student-run, under the advisement of the Assistant Dean of Students and Graduate Assistant for Student Activities and Organizations.

Q: How are the artists chosen?
A: A university wide survey for students was conducted in mid-Fall. The board used that feedback and artists routing to determine the best selection for the roster. 

Q: How is the event funded?
A: The event is primarily funded by the Campus Activities Board's programming budget allocation. Additional support has been provided by the Division of Student Development, the Student Government Association and ticket sales. Both the Campus Activities Board and the Student Government Association receive their funding through student activity fee allocations.

Q: Why is there a charge for tickets?
A: In order to provide the best show possible, a ticket charge has been incorporated. However, we have ensure that it is both cost effective for students and fiscally smart for this show. 

Q: Will there meet and greet passes be available for sale or via contest? Will there be merchandise for sale?
A: Unfortunately, there not be any meet and greet passes for either artist available for sale or via contest. Yes, there will be merchandise for sale.
